Does Davenport at +175 seem almost too good to be true?

I haven't like the way Serena has been playing lately. She just barely managed to hold off the very :hump: Sharapova. Serena used to be able to win by out powering her opponents, but I don't think that happens against Lindsey. Serena might actually have to play tennis and that is when she struggles.

I'm a little concerned about the number of matches Davenport has had to play in this tournament since she played both Doubles and Singles. Serena may be freasher.

I want some feedback before I pull the trigger on this bet. It just seems to me that whenever you can get a #1 seed with those odds against the #7 seed you should bet it.

Wow, Davenport had the Championship and my money in her hands and just stopped playing. Talk about a mental breakdown. Six chances to break in the 2nd set and then letting a 40-Love lead disapper. Serena Williams didn't win this Championship, she had it handed to her.

Publius,
I was right there with you with Davenport +520 and +484 for 2-0 and 2-1 respectively. Talk about choking and quitting. Perhaps prematurely I started counting the money after the first set. I guess the oddsmakers had it pinned from the beginning.

Yeah, I was prematurely counting the money myself. That one stung. It ranks up there as one of my most heartbreaking gambling loses, hahahahaha.
